We did level 2 ultrasound at the stage of 24 weeks and at that time the Amniotic Fluid was ADEQUATE.Please advice in details. Looking forward for earliest advice. Thanks Sunny
Latest USG findings suggest increased liquor. It is important to know amniotic fluid index(AFI).It is important in proper management. Polyhydramnios may develop with advancement of pregnancy. It can be presumed that there is no anomaly associated with fetus. There are few fetal anomalies which causes increase in liquour. Mild polyhydramnios may go away on its own. Severe polyhydramnios may require treatment, such as draining the excess amniotic fluid.
At this stage your wife may need regular follow up. Other findings are normal.
